Kanye West’s anticipated tenth album arrived on Sunday—no less—from the Sunday Service rapper. The 27 track album is dedicated to his late mother, Donda West.
The album features a variety of known and unknown voices. Beyond your obvious hip hop royalty like Jay-Z, who is featured on the album, here are some of the other stellar voices on the album. That includes a number of female voices on the album, as well.

Syleena Johnson
The soul singer is the first voice we hear on the album, canting the word “Donda” on the album’s first track, Donda Chant. Johnson is an R&B singer and talk show host who co-hosted the talk show, Sister Circle. She was featured on R&B Divas: Atlanta from 2012 to 2014 and is the daughter of blues singer Sylvester ‘Syl’ Johnson.
Jay Electronica
Jay Electronica gives a touching speech that halts listeners in their tracks, or whatever they might be doing, commanding your full attention. On the track Jesus Lord, the Roc Nation rapper focuses on biblical prose, but that’s not where it ends. He gets political in his lyrics: “Earthquakes will strike this nation for what Bush did to Rwanda (Facts),” and “What the Clintons did to Haiti and Downing Street did to Ghana.”
Sunday Service
The gospel choir that West put together in 2019, and toured with over the past couple of years, are featured on the track No Child Left Behind. While their names are not individually credited, some of the stellar, soul-shaking gospel singers in the group includes vocalists Alex Isley, Nikki Grier and Kyla Moscovich. The coir director is vocalist Jason White.

Shenseea
The Jamaican singer, known for her recent hit Run Run, is featured on the album. At just 24, Shenseea proves to be a rising star. West features her serenading vocals on the track Pure Souls, where she sings alongside Roddy Ricch. She also took part of the recent listening party West hosted in Chicago, noting on social media that she was “honored” to take part. She is also featured on the track Ok Ok, Pt. 2 where she sings the chorus and the second verse, where she sings: “Nuh trust any and any man (Any man).”
Vory
The Grammy Award winning Houston rapper is featured on the tracks No Child Left Behind and Shoulder To Lean On, and is noted as an up and coming rapper. Vory (also known as King Vory) is known for collaborating with Meek Mill on tracks Middle Of It, Ain’t It Funny and Think It’s A Game.
KayCyy
The Kenyan-American rapper is featured on the track Keep My Spirit Alive alongside Conway The Machine and Westside Gunn. KayCyy wrote on Instagram that he worked with West for two years on this album and that he “learned so much around the genius,” adding that he’s “so honored to have been a part of it.” On the chorus for the song, he sings: “You can take it all, but the Lord on my side Spirit won’t die, yeah Oh, my life Is in His hands, so I don’t stress, I pray and strategize.”
Rooga
The Chicago rapper is featured on the track Ok Ok Pt 2 alongside Shenseaa. With West, who is from Chicago, he often collaborates with young rappers from his hometown. Rooga explains on his website that after one personal experience, he vows to never speak negatively about anyone in his songs, which changed his approach as an artist. Rooga recently thanked West “for believing in my dream.”
